Assembly Innovation Center
The Assembly Innovation Center is home base to WCI’s Product Realization team. This team is dedicated to supporting all WCI facilities with engineering, production cell fabrications and connected, data-equipped tooling. In addition, AIC serves a diverse customer base with assemblers cross-trained across all product lines.
Innovative Products Center
The Innovative Products Center is home to a growing number of industry-leading large and mid-market OEM companies. In partnering with WCI, these OEMs have experienced first-hand new assembly technologies designed to deliver scale to their businesses. IPC is where it all began for WCI over 30 years ago.
Supply Chain Integrator
Opening in 2023, the Supply Chain Integrator facility is home to the integral inventory management services that WCI provides, including: part stocking, repacking, Tier 2 supplier drop ship, and kitting. From incoming part inspection to shipments triggered just-in-time to your factories, our team will tailor fulfillment solutions to meet your specific needs.
Cedar Falls, Iowa
With the award of a project that required specific proximity, the WCI Cedar Falls location opened in 2006. Subsequently, the building’s square footage has doubled since that time, and includes an ISO 6 clean room for assembly and kitting. From assemblies you can hold in your hand to 10-foot-wide radiators, the Cedar Falls team is adept at supporting a variety of complex assemblies.
Des Moines, Iowa
The Des Moines facility began in 2011 to enhance the value proposition offered to our customers in the area. In 2018, growth required moving to a larger facility to support customer needs. Complex dealer install kits with hundreds of component parts, hood assemblies and other complex assemblies are a focus for the team.
Crystal Lake, Illinois
The Crystal Lake facility became part of WCI with the 2013 acquisition of W.D. Allen. Crystal Lake manages the largest quantity of parts sold, focusing on support to the global service parts market for Caterpillar.
East Moline, Illinois
East Moline is WCI’s largest location in terms of daily assemblies completed. Here, the team handles large, complex assemblies in two separate facilities. Utilizing multiple shifts to ensure seamless delivery, these assemblies are predominantly sequenced to the final production line of a nearby customer.
Augusta, Georgia
Opening doors for the first time in 2018, the WCI Augusta team provides WCI’s gateway to customers in the Southeast. The Augusta team is adept at high-volume assemblies and directly sequencing to customers’ final assembly lines. WCI’s Augusta facility has grown significantly since it began operation.

Kaiserslautern, Germany
Originally opening its doors in 2011 in support of a project with worldwide requirements, WCI expanded into a new building in 2019 due to the location’s continued growth. The WCI team in Kaiserslautern serves both globally and regionally positioned OEM customers by providing complex assembly, kitting and supply chain management solutions.
